Fallingstar is a design collective that produces art-centered wallpaper and textiles. I am working with them as the designer of all the company branding as well as working with the artists to create designs inspired by their work.
For the logo I wanted to create both a strong logotype and an icon that can be used together or independently. We are working with manufacturers that us both modern methods, like digital printing, as well as the traditional hand printed patterns using screen and block methods. For that reason I wanted a logo that felt contemporary but also reminiscent of the turn-of-the-century crafts people who still inspire us.
The investor presentation provided the opportunity to show off some of our patterns.
I developed an online shop for the direct-to-consumer business that will be on-going as we continue to add patterns and new products.
