DoodleLit is a jumbo activity book inspired by the BabyLit series created by myself and author Jennifer Adams that encourages kids (or adults) to do creative writing and art projects in the context of the works of great authors. One of the fun details that I really enjoyed working on are the chapter intros that include the doodles of authors as found in their journals and manuscripts. Not only could they write, they could draw. Pretty awesome.
